You know that moment when we wake up from a deep night's sleep...
When we try to remember a dream, a whole world unto itself... When we feel the edges of the dream slip away as we focus into our day?
I love this moment. Here, I ponder a reality that is not rationally found in my day to day experience, and yet, I experienced it.
This is the feeling I reach for when I make these "mineral specimens" which would not rationally be found in nature.
If only for a moment, I hope one might lose themselves in the curiosity of the composition. I hope the day melts away and
it all turns dreamy for a split second. This blurred line between reality and imagined reality forms a shared experience, and this brings joy.
